We now have a wide range of UV Curable Blank
Coatings to offer. In addition to the Clear UV
Coating, we can offer almost any opaque color
or transparent color as well as matte or semi-gloss
coatings.
We can match your production colors in almost

UV Curable Blank Coatings have many advantages
over other Blank Coatings.

1. INCREASED PRODUCTION
The coated rods can go into the UV curing
oven immediately after coating. The UV Coatings
are cured in 5 seconds or less.

AUTO AIR BAG INFLATORS
Ultraviolet curable coatings are manufactured
by EPOXY COATINGS CO. to protect air bag inflators
from corrosion.
The application and curing of this coating is
located in the last section of the production
line. It is applied by air spray and the over
spray is recovered for reuse.

COATINGS FOR BRASS AND
OTHER METALS
EPOXY COATINGS CO. manufactures an ultraviolet
curable coating that increases the durability
of brass plated parts or other types of plating.
This coating is applied by electrostatic or air
spray and cured in 5 seconds or less under mercury
vapor light source with an output of 200 watts
or more per inch of lamp length.

FISHING LURES
EPOXY COATINGS CO. formulated a clear,
high gloss dip or spray coating for fishing
lures that increases their beauty and life.
Dipping is normally used because it is quick
and easy and eliminates waste from over
spray. After dipping and a few seconds delay
to drain the coating is cured in a few seconds
to greatly increase production rate.
This formulation is designed for 100% adhesion
to all surfaces including metal foil. It
has outstanding resistance to repeated abuse
from striking the surface of the water.
We have UV curing equipment at low cost.

EPOXY COATINGS CO. manufactures a clear or colored
(both transparent and opaque colors) coatings
for golf shafts that is applied by squeegee application.

POOL CUES and OTHER WOOD
PRODUCTS
Ultraviolet curable coatings are formulated for
use on a variety of wood products to enhance appearance
and durability. These wood coatings include UV
curable stains, UV sealers, and high gloss, abrasion
resistance UV curable finish coating. The stains
are made in customized colors for current production
requirements or future production. The sealers
and finish coatings can be applied by dipping,
electrostatic, or air spray.

FOR GRAPHITE OR FIBERGLASS RODS
These coatings were developed primarily for application
to Fishing Rod Blanks and Golf Shafts. Application
is by the conventional Squeegee process.

We have small scale UV curing equipment for evaluation
of UV coatings and laboratory studies. This equipment
can also be used in the production of small parts
such as fishing lures and brass handles.
